Pharmacy Direct LTD was launched in April 2005, following the Department Of Health, Carson Review recommendations on “Securing proper access to medication,during the Out-Of-Hours (OOH) period.”

The Department Of Health recommends that patients should ideally receive urgent care medication, at the same time and place as their consultations, especially during the OOH period.

Our mission is to support implementation of this strategy, by improving access to urgent care medication, during OOH, when most pharmacies are closed.

Pharmacy Direct Ltd currently provides a free 24hr home delivery pharmacy service to all our registered patients resident within the Central and Greater London region.We also provide clinical support to patients and their carers, as well as prescribing support, to prescribers.

Pharmacy Direct Ltd assists HIV/AIDS patients who wish to access free Antiviral therapy, but for various reasons,are not eligible to receive free NHS treatment.

We do appreciate the incredibly high cost attached to HIV/AIDS Antivirals, and therefore Pharmacy Direct Ltd provides this service completely free of charge.
